Hi friends! Hope everyone had a great Easter!
My last Amazon haul went super well and you guys seemed to really enjoy it (who doesn’t love loungewear?!). I let people vote on my Instagram on if they wanted to see beach wear or vacation outfits next…and beach wear won!
2021 is looking a little brighter than last year (honestly, let’s just not even talk about 2020 anymore!) so I hope you all are able to escape to the ocean for a nice little getaway. Here are some cute swim suits, coverups, shoes, and hats that you need to snag right now for your summer vacay!
I made sure to try styles that would be flattering for everyone, ranging from cheeky bikinis, to high-waisted, to one piece! I am wearing a small in everything.
First up is my favorite from the haul, this high-waisted ruffle bikini. It is so comfy and flattering! I love the deep cut v in the top and the ruffle shoulders. Definitely coming with me on my next trip!
Next is this pink one-shoulder ruffle bikini. I love one-shoulders and ruffles, so this had two of my favorite things. I’m thinking about buying it in the red next!
I have A LOT of swimsuits, but don’t think I’ve ever tried one with this scallop detail. It is so cute and I believe it comes in a high-waisted version as well. I also paired it with this lightweight leopard print kimono.
Back to ruffles again…this yellow striped high-waisted bikini is very flattering while also being modest. I’m pretty sure the bandeau top also comes with straps too. This bikini makes me want to be sitting in a lounge chair in Positano! Maybe one day!
If you can’t tell yet, I love leopard print! I wore this bikini in Key West last year and it’s definitely one of my favorites. The top is extremely supportive so would even work for those who are more “blessed” in the chest, if you know what I mean!
Next is this floral print turquoise bikini. I don’t think it looks the greatest on me but I’m going to go ahead and keep it, it’s a pretty modest suit that I think would be great for family functions, taking kids to the water park, etc. The bottoms were a little bit baggy on me, so I wish I could’ve sized down a bit.
This last two-piece suit would be extremely cute for a bachelorette or honeymoon! It looks designer but for WAY less money. I also have it in black that I wore in the Philippines a couple years ago!
I also got these other two coverups that I absolutely love. Both are dresses and are light weight and would be great to wear at a resort on your way down to the pool or while walking to the beach. Here is the link for the white one and here is the link for the black one!
Now on to one pieces! These are my favorite ones from Amazon, I bought the beige one last year and then ended up going ahead and buying the white one for my bachelorette party this summer. I need every color!
Back to leopard print, I love the feel of this one-piece and it fits great in the bottom and around my chest/shoulders, but the back “gaps” if that makes sense and wasn’t as form fitting as I would like (I have a long torso, so i often have this problem with one-pieces). I was able to fix it though by pairing it with this rattan belt, which I think makes it even cuter!
Last up is this polka dot one piece. I snagged the pink one last year after my favorite blogger Caitlin Covington wore it in Aruba! So this year I wanted the orange one. I definitely think the pink one fits me better but they are both extremely comfortable and I love the tie and cut-out detail.
The hat you’ve seen me wear in most of these pictures is also from Amazon and very affordable! It comes in a ton of different colors too! Here’s the link.
Also, some of you may have noticed some of the sandals I’m wearing in some of these pictures. I wanted to share some of these AMAZING designer dupes that I found.
First up is this dupe for the Steve Madden Greece slides. I’ll admit I do love Steve Madden products and their shoes always hold up super well, but I wanted to find something a bit cheaper. They are only $19 compared to the $70 Greece slide. They are already selling out quick and have limited sizes left, so grab a pair now! Hopefully they restock. I got a 7!
I’ve also always wanted a pair of Tory Burch Miller sandals, but for almost $200…no way. I’m not paying that for a pair of sandals!! This pair I have from Amazon that looks almost identical was only $35, and there are some pairs on there for as low as $18! I read that they run small so I sized up to an 8 and they were perfect.
And if you’re looking for the the most comfortable and lightweight shoe ever, you need these. They look just like the Birkenstock version but instead of being $50, they are less than half the price (only $17.50!) I got a size 7 and when I tell you I wear these all summer, I mean it. They are perfect for the beach, running errands, working in the yard, boating, etc. Did I mention they float?!
Alright, I think that everything! I’m so hopeful for a better summer this year and hope I’ve inspired some cute beach items for you. Let me know what haul you want to see next! Also, I just recently made a LIKEtoKnow.it account! I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me a follow (my username is travelin.tara) as i work on growing my account there. Thank you!!
